What we collect when you book, and what we do with it.
Who We Are
MY13KLTAXI (吉祥大马包车旅游) is a private car charter and day-tour service based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you book with us, why we need it, and what happens to it.
What You Give Us
When you send a booking enquiry we ask for your name, contact number, email address and how you prefer to be contacted. For the journey itself we ask for your pick-up date and time, pick-up and drop-off addresses, flight number for airport transfers, the number of adults, children and pieces of luggage, your trip type and your preferred vehicle. Nationality is optional and only helps the driver look after you. We never ask for passport numbers, bank details or card numbers on this website — please do not send them to us here.
Why We Need It
We use it for one purpose: to quote, arrange and carry out your journey. That means assigning a vehicle and driver, confirming the booking with you, and letting the driver find you on the day. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Where It Goes
Your enquiry is emailed to our booking mailbox over an encrypted connection, and a confirmation is emailed back to you. The only person we pass your trip details to is the driver assigned to your booking. If you contact us on WhatsApp instead, that conversation lives in WhatsApp.
Third-Party Services
Our reviews page shows Google reviews through the Trustindex widget, which may set cookies belonging to Google. Tapping a WhatsApp button hands you over to WhatsApp, and their privacy policy applies from that point. These are the only third parties that see anything.
Cookies
This site uses cookies only for things that make it work — chiefly remembering whether you are browsing in English or 中文. We do not run our own advertising or tracking cookies.
How Long We Keep It
We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and deal with anything that follows it, such as a lost-property or billing question, and in any case no longer than 24 months after your trip unless Malaysian law requires otherwise.
Your Rights
Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond.
